Yeap...it's coming. And I promise you...you DON'T want to miss this!XOXO, Angie
Three month old babies are too clients. They aren't technically lifting their heads up yet in order to lay on their tummy, they aren't sitting up, etc. Therefore, generally...you have to work with what they'll give you and hope for the best. Unlike a newborn who will generally sleep for you, most times a 12 week old baby won't. However, this sweet little girl did sleep for me during her three month session. Don't get me wrong...she totally made me work for it. However, we finally got her to give in and fall into a deep slumber. Clearly she was perferctly OK with that decision...
She even fit just perfectly in one of my newborn props. Check out the hair...

Before she dozed off, I managed to capture these beautiful images of her eyes wide open. Aren't they stunning eyes at that???
Even though she gave me my workout for the shoot, she was worth every second of the energy it took to get her to this point...
UH-DOR-A-BLE!!! :)XOXO, Angie
Do you have a group of friends whom would LOVE to learn how to take better photographs of their children or whom would love to learn how to use the bells and whistles on their cameras a little better? Do you have friends who would love to have a girls night and get together over refreshments, drinks, and great desserts? If so, let Angie Seaman Photography know. We offer "Moms with Cameras" classes where I actually come to your home (with five or more participants) and show you guys the ins and outs of basic photography as well as how to use those awesome DSLR's that you own. If you'd like to host one of the Moms with cameras parties, we'll make it happen. Feel free to email me directly at Angie@AngieSeamanPhotography.com anytime should you have any questions.
On another note, I've been meaning to mention this to everyone and keep forgetting. Do you have a senior that will be graduation this year and you're planning to put an ad in their yearbook? How about an ad for your 8th graders yearbook as they graduate from junior high? Well...if so, we create those ads for you. If you've worked with Angie Seaman Photography on images recently, we can use those images as well as older images from when they were younger to create a unique and very personalized ad for your student. The above example was done for an 8th grader. Her parents wanted an ad for her yearbook and we designed the layout for her using one of the images we'd taken at an earlier shoot as well as two images from the families stash when she was a toddler. If you need help creating a way cool ad for your child that they WON'T be embarassed of, give us a call. :)Speaking of Seniors...how cool is this new product???
All of our Senior high school clients and their families love these viewers. Yeap, they are just like the ones we had as kids only this time they have your very own images inside them. How fun! Make sure to ask about these when placing your order with Angie Seaman Photography. We've got the RAD-EST products on the block! PS...These also make great fun for the little ones or a fun gift for your husband/significant other following your special boduoir session.Due to the fact that the latest Apple laptops and computers have done away with disc drives, we have now made the decision to move any digital files over to a jump drive for you. What that means is that when you purchase digital image files from us or when you purchase our platinum collection which comes with an entire disc of images from your session, those images will all be placed on a custom jump drive for you now rather than on a disc/CD/DVD. We are following the way of the world and realizing that the DVD's are becoming extinct - slowly but surely - just as cassette tapes did at one time. We hope that you find our product line not only colorful and fun but top of the line when it comes to our brand and the latest and greatest options out there. We keep our customer products modern and of the highest quality.
Lastly, I'm heading out on a much needed vacation with my family come this Friday. I'll be out of the office with very limited email access from October 12th thru October 21st. If you're trying to reach me, feel free to email me or call us and leave a message. We'll return your call and your email just as soon as technology in the areas we are in will allow us. We'll be back shooting and in the office again come Monday, October 22nd. Until then, we'll be doing this...
Thank you for your patience as we enjoy a wonderful trip as a family as well as with my parents who are flying into Florida (from Indiana) this Friday to join us on the Disney Fantasy Cruise. I'm ready to go veg out and explore my creative juices while regrouping on this GRAND ship in the Caribbean. :) Have a wonderful week!Blessings, Angie
First off, do you not just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this girls hair? I told her over and over during our shoot together how much I loved the colors and tones within her hair-do. It totally ROCKED and she wore it sooooooo well.
We had a fun and rustic location to work with on this shoot - one that I like to call "Grungey." If you know me or my style of photography well enough, you'll know that I love to shoot high school seniors in grunge type environments. Throw in some good trash cans, dumpsters, or even port-a-lets in the backdrop and I'm a happy girl. The more natural the grunge of the environment, the better in my opinion. I love that stuff!!!
Add in some graffiti and I'm an even happier girl. LOL!
I love any location that is different and unique. I strive to make your images very different from the last. It's a constant job - findling locations that will ROCK for the next client. However, it's part of the job that I love A LOT! Location scouting is half the fun in this business. The other fun part is getting to know my clients and establishing these long lasting relationships with them.
We've embarked upon my busiest season of the year. From October thru January, I work like a mad woman. Southwest Florida has lots of tourists in town during this particular time of the year whom book wanting beach sessions for the holidays and my local clients have sessions booked for their Christmas cards. It's a great position to be in but one that leaves limited sessions for those out there still looking to book with me. If you're wanting on my calendar, give me a call as soon as you can and we'll work to make it happen. I'm already booking into January with select few dates left in between now and then. I'm heading out on a much needed vacation with my family (stay tuned for personal photos to come) on October 13th thru the 21st. If you should try to reach me during that week, I'll have limited phone & email access while I'm away but I'll be doing my best to return your call or email as soon as I'm in an area where I can. I'll be back in the studio come the 22nd with bells on. :)XOXO, Angie
Did you know that Angie Seaman Photography also offers corporate and executive headshots for professionals in the area? Yeap, we do. We specialize in what we consider environmental lifestyle corporate headshots. What that means is that we come to you - on location - and capture you in a setting that best reflects your corporate image. If you're a doctor, we can capture you in a setting that represents your career. If you're a lawyer, a realtor, etc., we can place you in a setting with a background that is fresh and modern in comparison to those same old cookie cutter backgrounds that we're used to seeing with corporate headshots. You know...the boring old backgrounds that look like our elementary school photos always did in front of the blue, gray, brown, or black backdrop??? Yeah...those. We make it our job to capture your images in front of any location you should prefer. Don't have a location? We can suggest some for you. It doesn't have to be an indoor setting. We live in paradise, remember? There are plenty of areas to take your portraits outdoors that reflect a scenic and beautiful background rather than those traditional ones that are so mundane and old school.
If you're in need of updating your business cards, letterhead, email signature photo, your website, blog, etc., and need a new and up-to-date portrait of yourself...give us a call. We'll make it happen!
After three years of living here in Naples, Florida, I still have to pinch myself when I wake up each day and realize that I "live" here. My home is literally down the street from the beach and I get to witness the most amazing Florida sunsets almost every day. With that said, when I moved here, I also had the priviledge of crossing paths with so many wonderful people. One of those wonderful people happens to be Rebecca. Rebecca is a model here in Southwest Florida that I've gotten the opportunity to work with a few times. She's not only gorgeous on the outside but she's beautiful on the inside as well.
Rebecca and I set out to a nearby beach access the other night to capture some sunset/evening shots for her portfolio. It was an amazingly gorgeous evening - as always - here in Florida.
Every shot I was able to capture of her was stunning. This girl can't take a bad photo. Seriously!
I mean...is it really fair that any one human being can be this beautiful? She's flawless. Inside and out.
The beach was quite crowded on this particular night but you'd never know it in these images. The people that were close by cleared out around us and we had paradise abound - all to ourselves.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to work with you again Rebecca. It's always such a pleasure.
Blessings, Angie
I love working with newborns. Even though some make me work for the shots a little harder than others, I still love em'! This little girl was a breeze. She was gorgeous and pleasant all wrapped up in this tiny little package. Sessions like hers make you forget how tough newborns can be to photograph sometimes. She spoiled me for those two hours we had together. :)
The hardest part of a newborn shoot can sometimes be the transitioning from one set to another. Once you get them positioned and sleeping, you really cringe at the thought of having to move them again. However, with a seasoned pro, they move from set to set with total ease...
If you're considering booking a newborn session with Angie Seaman Photography, give us a buzz and we'll get your sweet little scheduled and on our books for their tentative arrival. We like to see newborns that are ten days and younger for the best outcome in a newborn session. Once they pass that two week mark, they begin to stretch out and not stay balled up in those newborn fetal positions that we love so much. It's always best to have their newborn portraits taken prior to that 10-14 day old range. By doing so, we capture all of the fine details that make a newborn...well...a newborn.

Call Angie Seaman Photography today at (317) 777-9990 to schedule your unique and oh so different newborn images. We promise we won't dissapoint!
When I went back home to Indiana recently, I got the pleasure of working with this gorgeous girl and her Mother. We shot near my old stomping ground and had a ball. Both Mom and daughter were so great to work with. As you can see by the images, this girl was a pro...
We had a beautiful night with superb lighting. Everything went off without a hitch.
Thank you to Alex and her Mother, Heidi, for making my trip back to Indiana even that much more fun. I had a great time meeting the both of you.If you're in the market for senior portraits here in Indiana, keep a look out for our ads in the Florida weekly paper. We give away great discounts when those ads are published. Here's an example:
You can also keep a close eye out for one of our senior model reps at your high school. They carry rep cards with them which can be given to you and their friends for additional discounts as well. We look forward to hearing from you.PS...I'm unsure why blogger continues to soften my images so much when I post them here on my blog. Please disregard the poor image quality here recently when posting via blogger. :( I promise that they are crisp, clear, and sharp when not loaded into here. BOO!
I had the honor of working with this sweet newborn baby girl recently. She was such a charmer. So incredibly easy to work with.
She had just a couple of bouts of being awake during the shoot but easily went back off into a deep slumber.
Before all was said and done, we even got some great smiles out of her. Love these type of shots...
Do they come any cuter than this? Oh my goodness!!! LOVE!A BIG thanks to little Miss Hadley and her Mommy for allowing me the opportunity to capture her first days. Such a beauty!XOXO, Angie
