I had this sweet little one in the studio recently. She was bound and determined to keep her little fingers clenched in a first formation the entire session. No matter how many times I begged for ballet hands, she just wouldn't give in. LOL!
We managed to get some amazing shots of her nonetheless. Such a cutie.
She wore every color we put on her very well. :)
What a perfect baby girl!
This little angel was such a sweetie pie. She was so good to work with. We shot a few days after my normal preference when it comes to doing newborn sessions but she still handled it like a pro.
We brought in her sweet lil' bro at the end of the session and snapped a couple of quick images of him. This was one of my favorites...(Mom also ordered a large canvas of it so I'm gathering it was a fav of hers as well. Wink wink! :-)
What a fun session! Two seasoned pros or it appeared that way anyhow. :) Thanks guys! I had a blast with your family. :)xoxo, Angie

Three month old babies are too clients. They aren't technically lifting their heads up yet in order to lay on their tummy, they aren't sitting up, etc. Therefore, generally...you have to work with what they'll give you and hope for the best. Unlike a newborn who will generally sleep for you, most times a 12 week old baby won't. However, this sweet little girl did sleep for me during her three month session. Don't get me wrong...she totally made me work for it. However, we finally got her to give in and fall into a deep slumber. Clearly she was perferctly OK with that decision...
She even fit just perfectly in one of my newborn props. Check out the hair...
Before she dozed off, I managed to capture these beautiful images of her eyes wide open. Aren't they stunning eyes at that???
Even though she gave me my workout for the shoot, she was worth every second of the energy it took to get her to this point...

Sometimes, when photographing clients, when you click the shutter you just know that it's going to be your favorite one of the session. In this case, I had two favorites from this particular session. The one up top and this one below...
I got to work with this awesome family from Missouri recently. They were such fun to photograph. We captured some great memories from their trip here to Naples. We also had gorgeous weather to work with. It truly made for a magical and very beautiful beach sunset.
I love the sessions at the beach where we get the crayola blue skies and the big white puffy clouds together as well as the golden sunsets to boot.
It was CRAZY windy on this particular day but it didn't stop these girls from looking gorgeous...

I've recently had the honor of working with four different pageant title holders here in Florida. One of those four girls, shown here in these photos, is Miss. Jr. T.E.E.N United States. That's right friends...Rylie holds that awesome title and she ROCKED our shoot together last week. Uhmmmm...could this child be any more gorgeous??? Uh NO!
Rylie is a doll to work with and the camera clearly LOVES her as do I. She is such a pro at this stuff and is so incredibly easy to work with. She requires very little direction when shooting which makes my job E-A-S-Y as pie. Not only do I adore Rylie but her Mom is a sweetheart too. Did I mention that her Mom's name is "Angie?" Same as mine. Yeap, her Mom pretty much ROCKS. :0)

I love it!!!These images are a perfect example of why I love my job and the clients I work with so much. I mean...who wouldn't love photographing this adorable girl all day long?And yes...there I go again grabbing junk off the streets to incorporate in my images. Any pop of color I can find...I'll grab it and use it. This construction cone was no exception. It went awesome with Rylie's 80's style attire and her pink flip flops.
I don't mind incorporating random signage either. Hey...if it matches and draws out some color...why not, right?
Throw in my signature backdrop...some yellow street stripes or a street in general...and wa-lah...we've got ourselves a fantastic image. The red stop lights in the background match her sweater and everything. Fun, fun, fun!

I recently got the opportunity to work with this gorgeous high school girl here in Naples. Michele is a sophomore and a beautiful at that.
And they call this work??? My clients are so great to make my end result look good but the truth is, their beauty is hard to go wrong with. You couldn't take a bad picture of this girl if you tried. I promise you that you couldn't.
Senior portrait season is in full effect. If you're in need of photos for yourself, your family, your newborn, etc., don't hesitate to give me a call. I'd be honored to work with you.

I've been away - in Atlanta - for another workshop over the past weekend. I spent Friday thru Sunday, one on one, with Debbie Layden (a newborn and children's photographer there in Atlanta). I had a blast and got to drown myself in newborn photography as well as studio and outdoor lighting. Deb was great to work one on one with as I got to ask all the questions I wanted and didn't feel like a dork asking them. LOL!As a photographer, I like to consider myself a "life-learner." Meaning, I never want to get to the point in photography or in life period where I think I just "know it all." No one ever knows E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G and therefore, why not make it a priority to keep learning all throughout life (whether it be in your career, your hobby, your passion, etc.)? Because I want to remain a life-learner, I intend to always make it a priority to attend any workshop, conference, class, seminar, etc. that I feel is necessary to my craft. I want my clients to have the best product possible and I can honestly say that with each workshop or conference I've attended, it's only bettered the end result of my art. I once heard a photography mentor of mine say to treat workshops and classes as though they are your college - ongoing college. So I do. I have two other workshops coming up this year (one next month in March and one in September) that I hope will also add to the list of things that have helped me improve my product and further educate my brain in regard to this industry.Because of the above, I'm so grateful for those who "teach" in this industry. Without them, we'd be a lot further behind in most cases than we currently are. Right? So...thank you to all of you out there who aren't afraid to share your knowledge with other photographers. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!The Valentine's in our house were packaged up & sent off to school without a hitch today. As a photographer, I've attached photos with each of my children's Valentine's for their classes - for as long as I can remember. Not only is it a cute look for your kiddo's in an effort to help their Valentine cards stand out but it's also a good advertisement for business. And yes, I do include my website address somewhere on the card in smaller print. In this case, it's on the back side of the design. :) I am "that Mom." LOL! I'm always marketing/networking. Always.You don't have to be a photographer to do this. If you specialize in another field/career, place that on the back of your kiddo's Valentine's next year. Slip in a website address and market whenever and wherever possible. You never know who's watching or whose hands it might land in. :) In the meantime, I hope your love bug(s) made your Valentine's Day very special. Give those who melt your heart a HUGE hug today and remind them how much they're loved. And to all of you...my clients, my friends, my family, my fans, my stalkers...I sure do love you guys! In honor of Valentine's Day tomorrow, I thought I'd share this little cutie in one of my puppy love hats (above). This sweet little guy was such a trooper and did so well for his shoot. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him and his Mommy.
Aside from the puppy love hat, we also sported him in some traditional stuff too.
As you can see, he was just as snug as a little bug in a rug. Too cute!
How bout' them lips? Love!
